From the cracking Craigellachie Distillery comes a 13 year old single malt Scotch whisky, independently bottled up by James Eadie. It was distilled in 2008 and left to mature in three refill hogsheads. After a baker's dozen years, the James Eadie team deemed it ready to bottle up. It comes presented with a handsome label and a name that is an homage to a pub that was previously owned by James Eadie back in the days of yore.~ Master of Malt

The Speyside region's rock, Craigellachie, is everything not your average 'Speyside' whiskey. Its fruity, muscular flavor, which was considered out of date even in 1891, is due to the employment of worm tub condensers. This robust but fragrant flavour goes against what is expected. Many distilleries in the earlier days of whiskey manufacturing used worm tubs to chill their alcohol. We continue to use this conventional method of returning our vapour to liquid form after distillation. We discover that the worm tubs give the spirit an added flavor, aiding in the development of our unique personality.
