Product Description

Teeling's oldest release to date! The Teeling family has been deeply involved in the world of Irish whiskey for generations, dating back as far as 1782. With the latest exciting release from the Teeling team, we see the result of yet more patience, skill, and time. A lot of it. Feast your eyes upon the Teeling 38 Year Old – Very Rare Casks. For nearly four decades, this single malt Irish whiskey soundly slumbered in bourbon barrels, allowed more than enough time for its exceptional flavour profile to develop. Following that, it was expertly bottled up by the Teeling team at 41.2% ABV and handsomely presented. A truly extraordinary piece of Irish whiskey history.

About The Brand: Teeling

The Teeling Whiskey Company opened the Teeling Distillery, an Irish whiskey distillery, near Dublin in 2015. It is the first new whiskey distillery to open in Dublin, which previously served as the world's center for whiskey production, in more than 125 years. In reality, it is the first whiskey distillery to operate in Dublin in over 40 years since the final of the old Dublin distilleries shut down in 1976. Previously, Dublin was home to at least 37 distilleries. Jack and Stephen Teeling, whose father John Teeling had launched the monopoly-busting Cooley Distillery in 1987, started the distillery. It is situated near to Walter Teeling, a family progenitor who founded a distillery on Marrowbone Lane in 1782, in Dublin's Liberties neighborhood. The re-establishment of the Teeling whiskey brand is symbolized by the brand's logo, which features a phoenix emerging from a pot still.
