Teeling Blackpitts Peated Single Malt is a peated Irish whiskey from the Teeling Whiskey Company. It is made from 100% malted barley and is peated to around 30PPM. It is aged in both ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, giving it a rich and complex flavor profile. The whiskey is non-chill filtered and bottled at 46% ABV. The combination of peat smoke and a careful selection of casks results in a whiskey that is said to have notes of spice, fruit, and smoke. It is a limited release and is highly sought after by whiskey enthusiasts.

The Teeling Whiskey Company opened the Teeling Distillery, an Irish whiskey distillery, near Dublin in 2015. It is the first new whiskey distillery to open in Dublin, which previously served as the world's center for whiskey production, in more than 125 years. In reality, it is the first whiskey distillery to operate in Dublin in over 40 years since the final of the old Dublin distilleries shut down in 1976. Previously, Dublin was home to at least 37 distilleries. Jack and Stephen Teeling, whose father John Teeling had launched the monopoly-busting Cooley Distillery in 1987, started the distillery. It is situated near to Walter Teeling, a family progenitor who founded a distillery on Marrowbone Lane in 1782, in Dublin's Liberties neighborhood. The re-establishment of the Teeling whiskey brand is symbolized by the brand's logo, which features a phoenix emerging from a pot still.
