The Teeling team has gone and finished a superb single grain in red wine casks for this lip-smacking expression! The whiskey, which is made with 95% corn and 5% malted barley, is firstly aged in ex-bourbon casks before being moved over ex-Bordeaux red wine casks for an additional four years, bringing oodles of warm red fruit notes to the table. Bottled up at 13 years of age, this expression shows off everything we love about single grain whiskey, with the additional deliciousness of juicy red berries thrown in for good measure. Delightful!~ Master of Malt

The Teeling Whiskey Company opened the Teeling Distillery, an Irish whiskey distillery, near Dublin in 2015. It is the first new whiskey distillery to open in Dublin, which previously served as the world's center for whiskey production, in more than 125 years. In reality, it is the first whiskey distillery to operate in Dublin in over 40 years since the final of the old Dublin distilleries shut down in 1976. Previously, Dublin was home to at least 37 distilleries. Jack and Stephen Teeling, whose father John Teeling had launched the monopoly-busting Cooley Distillery in 1987, started the distillery. It is situated near to Walter Teeling, a family progenitor who founded a distillery on Marrowbone Lane in 1782, in Dublin's Liberties neighborhood. The re-establishment of the Teeling whiskey brand is symbolized by the brand's logo, which features a phoenix emerging from a pot still.
