Glenmorangie Signet is a unique single malt Scotch whisky that stands out for its unconventional production methods. The whisky is made from a blend of the finest whiskies that have been aged up to 40 years and are carefully selected by the master distiller. The barley used in the production is grown in the fertile lands of Ross-shire and malted on-site using the traditional floor malting method. What sets Glenmorangie Signet apart is the use of chocolate malted barley, which is roasted to a point where it releases coffee and chocolate aromas. The spirit is then distilled in Glenmorangie's unique copper pot stills, which are the tallest in Scotland, and matured in a combination of new oak, ex-bourbon and sherry casks. The result is a rich and complex whisky with a smooth and velvety mouthfeel.

The distillery known as Glenmorangie, which takes its name from either the Gaelic Gleann Mór-innse or Gleann Mór na Sth, 'valley of calm' or 'vale of great meadows,' is located in Tain, Ross-shire, Scotland. It produces single malt Scotch whiskey. The Glenmorangie Company Ltd., a division of Louis Vuitton Mot Hennessy, is the owner of the distillery. Its main offering is a variety of Glenmorangie single malt whiskies. Highland distillery Glenmorangie is known for having Scotland's highest stills.
