A wonderful dram. The nose is rich and complex, with notes of honey, vanilla, citrus, and hints of oak. On the palate, it is smooth and creamy, with flavors of toffee, dark chocolate, and fruit cake, with a long and warming finish. The whisky is well-balanced, with the sherry casks imparting just the right amount of sweetness and spice.
My first time I had this was at a engagment party, and it was a fabulous dram. It was delicious a bursting with flavor. Highly recommend!

Glenmorangie 18 Year Old Extremely Rare is a single malt Scotch whisky produced using traditional methods in the Scottish Highlands. The whisky is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks for 15 years, and then transferred to Oloroso sherry casks for an additional 3 years. This unique maturation process imparts a rich and complex flavor profile to the whisky, with notes of honey, apricot, and vanilla. Glenmorangie takes great care in selecting the perfect oak casks to ensure the highest quality product, making the 18 Year Old Extremely Rare a truly exceptional single malt whisky.
Glenmorangie 18 Year Old Extremely Rare is a complex and delicate whisky that can be enjoyed in many ways. To fully experience the rich flavors and aromas, it is recommended to serve this whisky neat or with a splash of room temperature water. This will allow the whisky to open up and release its full range of notes. It can also be enjoyed in a Glencairn glass to enhance its nose and flavor. For those who prefer a chilled whisky, it can be served on the rocks, but this may mask some of the subtle notes. As a highly sought-after whisky, Glenmorangie 18 Year Old Extremely Rare is best savored on special occasions or given as a memorable gift to a discerning whisky connoisseur.
