Ben Nevis 2019 5 Year Old Heavily Peated Edition #17 Signatory is a Scotch whisky from the Highland region, known for its distinctive heavily peated style. With an ABV of 57.1%, this whisky showcases the bold character typical of Ben Nevis distillery's offerings. The whisky has been aged for 5 years, contributing to its unique profile.
A robust and smoky aroma with notes of charred wood, seaweed, and hints of citrus zest.
Intensely peaty with flavors of roasted malt, dark chocolate, and a touch of brine, complemented by a peppery spice.
Long and warming, with lingering smoke, a hint of sweetness, and a touch of oak.
A bold and characterful expression that showcases the heavily peated style of Ben Nevis, balanced by its youthful vibrancy.

In Scotland's Fort William, there is a distillery called Ben Nevis. At 1,345 meters (4,413 feet) above sea level, Ben Nevis is the tallest peak in the British Isles, and it is located at its foot. A coastal distillery in the Western Highlands gets its water from the Allt a'Mhuilinn, which springs from the Coire Leis and Coire na'Ciste lakes on Ben Nevis. It was established in 1825 as an independent business, and since 1989, Nikka Whisky Distilling of Tokyo, Japan, has owned it.
