This bottle of Forest Cask Single Malt 8 Year Old Ben Nevis Double-Wood Whisky is one of only 284 bottles taken from a single cask. The spirit was distilled in 2012 before being rested for 8 years in a single cask. This cask had previously been used to mature Woodford Reserve Double-Oak in the USA. We have then bottled using our own English spring water, resulting in a smooth yet memorable whisky.~ Master of Malt

In Scotland's Fort William, there is a distillery called Ben Nevis. At 1,345 meters (4,413 feet) above sea level, Ben Nevis is the tallest peak in the British Isles, and it is located at its foot. A coastal distillery in the Western Highlands gets its water from the Allt a'Mhuilinn, which springs from the Coire Leis and Coire na'Ciste lakes on Ben Nevis. It was established in 1825 as an independent business, and since 1989, Nikka Whisky Distilling of Tokyo, Japan, has owned it.
