Product Description

Ben Nevis 10 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Ben Nevis Distillery in the Scottish Highlands. It is made using malted barley, yeast, and water from the Allt a'Mhuilinn burn, which flows from the slopes of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the British Isles. The whisky is aged for 10 years in oak casks, which contribute to its rich, smooth and slightly smoky character. It has notes of honey, fruit, vanilla, and spices, with a long and satisfying finish.

About The Brand: Ben Nevis

In Scotland's Fort William, there is a distillery called Ben Nevis. At 1,345 meters (4,413 feet) above sea level, Ben Nevis is the tallest peak in the British Isles, and it is located at its foot. A coastal distillery in the Western Highlands gets its water from the Allt a'Mhuilinn, which springs from the Coire Leis and Coire na'Ciste lakes on Ben Nevis. It was established in 1825 as an independent business, and since 1989, Nikka Whisky Distilling of Tokyo, Japan, has owned it.
