A 1997 Ben Nevis single malt from independent bottler Elixir Distillers, matured in a single ex-sherry butt for almost quarter of a century before being bottled in April 2021 as part of its Single Malts of Scotland series. Aromas of iced cinnamon rolls, hot banana custard, strawberry cordial and iced black tea fill the nose, complemented by notes of pancakes with golden syrup, stewed strawberries, buttery scones, raspberry jam, sponge cake, candied ginger and red fruit throughout the palate.~ The Whisky Exchange

In Scotland's Fort William, there is a distillery called Ben Nevis. At 1,345 meters (4,413 feet) above sea level, Ben Nevis is the tallest peak in the British Isles, and it is located at its foot. A coastal distillery in the Western Highlands gets its water from the Allt a'Mhuilinn, which springs from the Coire Leis and Coire na'Ciste lakes on Ben Nevis. It was established in 1825 as an independent business, and since 1989, Nikka Whisky Distilling of Tokyo, Japan, has owned it.
