The Alistair Walker Whisky Company, based in Scotland, was established in 2018. With almost 20 years in the scotch whisky industry. Alistair Walker took the plunge and decided to forge his own path - as an independent bottler. This is release is from Ben Nevis Distillery, aged for 10 Years. Distilled 2011 Bottled 2022 Cask #2345, Pedro Ximenez Sherry Hogshead One of 297 Bottles. Official Tasting Notes: Colour: Russet. Nose: Danish cornucopia cake, aka The Horn of Plenty! Cherry Bakewell and coconut ice cream. Taste: The near 3 years finish in a PX hoggie is quite apparent here - seriously intense Demerara sugar, Cinnabons and allspice, with underlying almond and well-established dark chocolate bounty bar. Bountiful!~ Master of Malt

In Scotland's Fort William, there is a distillery called Ben Nevis. At 1,345 meters (4,413 feet) above sea level, Ben Nevis is the tallest peak in the British Isles, and it is located at its foot. A coastal distillery in the Western Highlands gets its water from the Allt a'Mhuilinn, which springs from the Coire Leis and Coire na'Ciste lakes on Ben Nevis. It was established in 1825 as an independent business, and since 1989, Nikka Whisky Distilling of Tokyo, Japan, has owned it.
