In order to commemorate its 30th anniversary, Bulleit opened a brand-new, cutting-edge distillery in Shelbyville, Kentucky, in 2017. BDC, which was built with an emphasis on sustainable techniques like as protecting natural habitats, conserving water, and procuring local ingredients, won the Highly Commended prize for Sustainable Distillery of the Year at the 2020 Icons of Whisky Awards presented by Whisky Magazine.
