Product Description

Tullibardine 2008 (Bottled 2021) - The Murray Cask Strength is a single malt Scotch whisky that was distilled in 2008 at the Tullibardine distillery and bottled in 2021 by the independent bottler, The Murray. The Tullibardine distillery is located in the Scottish Highlands and is known for producing a range of whiskies with a fruity and floral character, with a touch of spice and honey. The Murray Cask Strength is a series of whiskies that are bottled at cask strength, meaning that the alcohol content of the whisky is not diluted before bottling. The alcohol by volume (ABV) of this specific bottling would likely be around 55% or higher, depending on the specific cask and the strength of the distilled spirit. This bottling would have been aged in oak casks for 13 years, which would have added complexity, depth and balance to the whisky. The Murray is an independent bottler known for selecting and bottling high-quality whiskies from various distilleries. These bottlings are considered premium and sought-after by whisky enthusiasts. As a cask strength, aged single malt scotch whisky, this particular bottling would likely have a robust and complex flavor profile, with a high alcohol content. It's a whisky that would be best enjoyed neat or with a drop of water to open up the flavors. The exact flavor profile will depend on the specific cask it was aged in and the bottle's storage conditions. It would be considered a premium and sought-after item among whisky collectors and enthusiasts.

About The Brand: Tullibardine

Since 1949, the Scottish distillery Tullibardine has been producing single malt whiskey. The major water supplies for the distillery, the Ochil Hills and the Danny Burn, are nearby in Blackford, Perth and Kinross. In 1995, the distillery's then-owners Whyte & Mackay put it on hold. It was sold to Tullibardine Distillery Ltd in 2003, and they started making whiskey again. The distillery was purchased by the French company Picard Vins & Spiritueux in 2011. Terroirs Distillers, a company founded by this company in 2013, is a distillery. A variety of single malt whiskies, including 'Aged Oak Edition Single Malt Whisky' and 'Sherry Finish Malt Whisky,' are produced at the distillery, along with associated liqueurs. A visitor center is managed by Tullibardine Distillery.
