According to reports, the whiskey has aromas of citrus, green apple, and vanilla. The palate then features tastes of tropical fruits, spice, and vanilla, with a protracted and warming aftertaste. The Claret Jug trophy, which is presented to the champion of the Open Championship, served as the inspiration for the unique label design on the bottle.
