Single malt Scotch whiskey Inchmurrin 12 Year Old is produced by the Loch Lomond distillery in the Scottish Highlands. Malted barley and malted wheat are used to make it, and both pot stills and column stills are used to distill it. The whiskey is given a sweet and somewhat smokey taste profile with notes of vanilla, honey, and citrus after being matured for 12 years in a blend of bourbon and refill barrels. It's a terrific way to get started with the Loch Lomond line because of its light, fruity flavour and smooth, approachable palate.
