Dalmore King Alexander III is a premium single malt whisky from The Dalmore distillery in the Scottish Highlands. It is named after the King of Scotland who was responsible for saving the life of the distillery's founder in 1263. The whisky is matured in six different cask types, including ex-bourbon, Matusalem oloroso sherry, Madeira, Marsala, Port, and Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks. This complex maturation process creates a rich and complex flavor profile with notes of citrus, vanilla, toffee, and dark chocolate. It is bottled at 40% ABV and comes in a distinctive bottle featuring a silver stag's head.
