American businessman and former Johnnie Walker marketing director John Glaser launched Compass Box Whisky in 2000. Jill Boyd and James Saxon are the blenders for Compass Box. The company's whiskymakers choose distillates from many of the existing Scotch whiskey distilleries, and the chosen whiskies are then combined and further aged.
