Glenlivet Alpha is a Scotch whisky from the Speyside region, known for its smooth and fruity character. It is bottled at an ABV of 50%, which indicates a higher strength than many standard offerings. Glenlivet is recognized as one of the pioneering brands in the single malt whisky category.
Subtle hints of vanilla and citrus, with a touch of floral notes and a faint herbal quality.
Rich and creamy with flavors of honey, ripe fruits, and a slight spice that adds complexity.
Long and warming, with lingering notes of oak and a hint of sweetness.
A unique expression that showcases Glenlivet's ability to craft a bold and flavorful whisky without an age statement.

Single malt Scotch whisky is made in the Glenlivet distillery in Moray, Scotland, which is close to Ballindalloch. It is the oldest operating distillery in the parish of Glenlivet and the source of the eponymous Scotch whiskey. Since its founding in 1824, it has been operating virtually constantly. The only time the distillery was shut down was during World War II, and it did so during the entire Great Depression. The Glenlivet distillery has expanded to become one of the largest single malt distilleries in the post-war era. The Glenlivet brand is the second-most popular single malt whiskey brand worldwide and the top-selling single malt whisky in the United States. The French alcoholic beverage corporation Pernod Ricard now owns the distillery and is in charge of its annual output of 5,900,000 proof litres. This is used to make 6 million bottles of The Glenlivet single malt, with the remaining portion going into blended whiskey brands under the Pernod Ricard umbrella.
