Glenfarclas 2000 24 Year Old Millennium Cask #12 is a Scotch whisky from the Speyside region, aged for 24 years. It has an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 47.4%. Glenfarclas is known for its traditional family-owned distillery practices and a focus on sherry cask maturation.
Rich sherry influence with notes of dried fruits, dark chocolate, and a hint of spice.
Full-bodied with flavors of toffee, raisins, and a touch of oak, complemented by a subtle nuttiness.
Long and warming, with lingering notes of sweet spices and a hint of citrus.
A complex and well-balanced whisky that showcases the depth of Glenfarclas' sherry cask maturation.

In Ballindalloch, Scotland, there is a Speyside whiskey distillery called Glenfarclas. Glenfarclas, which means valley of the green grass, is a Scottish name. The Grant family owns and operates the distillery. Six stills, the biggest on Speyside and located in the distillery, are heated directly by gas burners. About 4 million liters of spirit may be produced at the distillery each year. Two stills are often held in reserve while the other two are used for production. Approximately 68,000 barrels from every year since 1953 up to the present are now ageing at the distillery in on-site dunnage warehouses. Traditional Highland malt with a strong sherry flavor is produced by Glenfarclas.
