Glenfarclas 21 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky produced by the Glenfarclas distillery. It is an older expression of Glenfarclas single malt, aged for 21 years in a combination of traditional oak casks, including ex-sherry casks. This expression is considered a premium release, and is known for its complex and rich flavor profile, with a balance of classic Speyside fruitiness and a significant Sherry influence. On the nose, it has notes of dried fruit, nut, toffee, and a hint of Sherry, with a subtle hint of spice. The palate is rich with flavors of dried fruit, nut, toffee, and a hint of Sherry, with a subtle hint of spice. The finish is long, warming and smooth, with a delicate balance of sweetness and oak influence. Glenfarclas 21 Year Old is a great representation of the Glenfarclas distillery's style of producing balanced and elegant single malts whiskies, with a strong sherry influence. It's considered a great choice for those who appreciate the traditional Speyside style of whisky and also enjoy a more complex and rich flavor profile with a Sherry influence. It can be enjoyed neat or with a drop of water, it's a great option for special occasions or as a gift for a whisky lover.

In Ballindalloch, Scotland, there is a Speyside whiskey distillery called Glenfarclas. Glenfarclas, which means valley of the green grass, is a Scottish name. The Grant family owns and operates the distillery. Six stills, the biggest on Speyside and located in the distillery, are heated directly by gas burners. About 4 million liters of spirit may be produced at the distillery each year. Two stills are often held in reserve while the other two are used for production. Approximately 68,000 barrels from every year since 1953 up to the present are now ageing at the distillery in on-site dunnage warehouses. Traditional Highland malt with a strong sherry flavor is produced by Glenfarclas.
