Feast your eyes upon the 2007 vintage Distillers Edition of Cragganmore's excellent single malt! This expression was treated to a finishing period in Port casks, imparting a wealth of jammy red berry notes, before being bottled in 2019. If you like your whiskies to have a good helping of fruity sweetness at their core balanced by savoury whiffs of peat and oak, this will be right up your street.

The Cragganmore distillery is definitely worth a visit thanks to its picturesque Spey Valley setting and distinctive flat top stills. To start organizing your trip, book your tour online right away. The Scotch whiskey distillery Cragganmore is located in the Scottish settlement of Ballindalloch in the Banffshire region. John Smith established the distillery in 1869 on property he leased from Sir George Macpherson-Grant. Smith choose the location because it was adjacent to the Strathspey Railway as well as the waters of the Craggan burn. Smith was an experienced distiller who had previously served as the manager of the Wishaw, Macallan, Glenlivet, and Glenlivet distilleries. The Speyside Way long-distance walking path is built along the abandoned Strathspey Railway. United Distillers marketed Cragganmore under the Classic Malts name. Since then, United Distillers has joined Diageo.
