Impressive single malt from Tobermory, matured for a quarter of a century! After initially resting in a refill bourbon cask, the whisky was moved over to a first fill Calvados cask for finishing, imparting plenty of fruity depth. The folks at indie bottler Dràm Mòr know a top-notch Scotch when they see one, and this splendid selection was filled into a rather smart decanter-style bottle, along with a robust wooden display case.~ Master of Malt

A Scotch whiskey distillery called Tobermory is located in the town of Tobermory on the Hebridean island of Mull in Scotland. The 1798-founded distillery, once called as Ledaig (pronounced Letch-ick), has changed hands several times and through a series of closures. Burn Stewart Distillers, a branch of the South African Distell Group Limited, presently owns Mull's sole distillery. The mixes Scottish Leader and Black Bottle contain Tobermory single malt, which is the company's primary offering. Additionally, though in lower quantities, the distillery creates peated whiskey, which continues to go by the name Ledaig.
