Product Description

Tobermory 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky produced by the Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull, Scotland. This whiskey is bottled by "That Boutique-y Whisky Company", a British independent bottler known for its unique and quirky labeling. Tobermory 12 Year Old is aged for 12 years in oak barrels, which impart flavors of honey, fruit, and spices to the whiskey. The specific casks used for aging can affect the final flavor profile of the whiskey, so each bottling of Tobermory 12 Year Old may vary slightly. This whisky is generally considered to be a light and approachable single malt, with a smooth and well-balanced taste.

About The Brand: Tobermory

A Scotch whiskey distillery called Tobermory is located in the town of Tobermory on the Hebridean island of Mull in Scotland. The 1798-founded distillery, once called as Ledaig (pronounced Letch-ick), has changed hands several times and through a series of closures. Burn Stewart Distillers, a branch of the South African Distell Group Limited, presently owns Mull's sole distillery. The mixes Scottish Leader and Black Bottle contain Tobermory single malt, which is the company's primary offering. Additionally, though in lower quantities, the distillery creates peated whiskey, which continues to go by the name Ledaig.
