Product Description

An eagerly awaited Diageo Special Releases release that is reminiscent of the Talisker bottlings from the 1970s and 1980s. It is a surprisingly rich interpretation of Talisker's fresh and marine spirit, with layers of bacon, fruit, and spice, matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels.

About The Brand: Talisker

On the Isle of Skye, Talisker is the oldest operating distillery. It is situated on the banks of Loch Harport and offers breathtaking views of the Cuillin Mountains. producing a seductive, sweet, full-bodied single malt that is so simple to enjoy and yet difficult to leave, much like Skye itself. On the Minginish Peninsula on the Isle of Skye, Talisker Distillery is an island single malt Scotch whiskey distillery with headquarters in Carbost, Scotland. Diageo, which runs the distillery, has shortlisted Taliskers' 10-year-old whiskey for inclusion in their Classic Malts lineup. The product is regarded as a high-end single malt Whisky. Hugh MacAskill financed £3,000 and constructed the distillery before leasing the land from the MacLeods in 1830. Instead of the settlement where it was located, he decided to name it after his estate, Talisker, which is located about 5 miles to the west.
