Product Description

Ledaig 22 Year Old 1999 Pedro Ximénez Cask is a single malt whisky that was produced by the Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull in Scotland. It was aged for 22 years in oak barrels before being finished in a cask that previously held Pedro Ximénez, a sweet and fruity sherry. The whisky is bottled at a cask strength of 51.6% ABV. The Ledaig 22 Year Old 1999 Pedro Ximénez Cask is a limited edition whisky that is highly sought after by collectors and whisky connoisseurs. It is known for its rich and complex flavor profile, with notes of fruit, honey, and oak, as well as a hint of the sweet and fruity flavors imparted by the Pedro Ximénez cask. The whisky is praised for its smooth and well-balanced character, and it is a good choice for sipping on its own or for use in cocktails.

About The Brand: Tobermory

A Scotch whiskey distillery called Tobermory is located in the town of Tobermory on the Hebridean island of Mull in Scotland. The 1798-founded distillery, once called as Ledaig (pronounced Letch-ick), has changed hands several times and through a series of closures. Burn Stewart Distillers, a branch of the South African Distell Group Limited, presently owns Mull's sole distillery. The mixes Scottish Leader and Black Bottle contain Tobermory single malt, which is the company's primary offering. Additionally, though in lower quantities, the distillery creates peated whiskey, which continues to go by the name Ledaig.
