This First Editions product was distilled at the island's Jura distillery and aged for 12 years in a single sherry barrel; there were only 619 bottles produced. The outstanding single malt is cask-strength (56% abv), chill-filtration-free, and natural in color when it is bottled.
Expect to smell vanilla, honey, sweet caramel, and fresh grass. On the tongue, the expression takes on an oaky flavor and has fruity and vegetal flavors. The closure is around a medium length, and the tail has a tinge of wood.

On the island of Jura in the Inner Hebrides off the coast of Scotland, the Jura distillery produces Scotch whiskey. Whyte and Mackay, a company located in Glasgow, is the owner of the distillery. Whyte and Mackay is owned by Emperador Inc., a company based in the Philippines. The distillery was founded in 1810 and revived in 1963 to revitalize the island and the neighborhood. What a success it has been as well. Today, practically every family on the island has a member who is employed by our distillery, a company associated with our distillery, or a tourism company that promotes whiskey.
