This Highland single malt from anCnoc was distilled at Knockdhu Distillery in 2007 and laid down in a single ex-bourbon cask #660 to mature for more than a decade. Bottled in 2020 at a natural cask strength of 53% abv, this expression has been specially selected for The Whisky Shop and our customers. Just 252 bottles have been filled, each one individually numbered. The nose is rich and sweet with stewed dark fruits, vanilla and gummy bears, with undertones of warming spices in the background. Creamy toffee sweetness fills the palate, alongside hints of caramelised apples. It's a complex, rich and spicy dram, with citrus notes developing with the addition of water.
