Product Description

As a result of the depletion of old barrel stocks brought on by the Japanese whisky boom, Suntory was compelled to make considerable adjustments to their product lineup. When the first premium NAS (Non Age-Statement) releases were released, fans were dubious, but this doubt was swiftly dispelled once they enjoyed their first sip. The Hibiki Master's Select product line upholds the high standards of the Hibiki brand and demonstrates their capacity to produce top-tier goods quickly. The whiskey has a smooth taste with delicious sherry undertones. At the 2016 World Whiskies Awards, this bottle won a gold medal, continuing the award-winning Hibiki legacy.

About The Brand: Hibiki

Beam Suntory creates the premium blended whiskey Hibiki in Japan (a subsidiary of Suntory Beverage & Food Ltd, which itself is a subsidiary of Suntory Holdings of Osaka, Japan). It has received several honors. In order to create the blends that were on the market as of 2010, more than 30 whiskies were combined, some of which had been matured for more than 30 years and others in old umeshu barrels. There has also been a filtration phase using bamboo charcoal. The method 'Gives it a very sweet and mild flavor,' the business claimed. At least 10 malt and grain whiskies from three distilleries (Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita) were reportedly utilized in 2015, matured in five distinct types of casks, some of which were stored for as long as 20 years or more. As of October 2017, there are presently three brand expressions available.
