Harmony - a rather apt word to describe this well-balanced Japanese blended whisky from the Hibiki range. Hibiki Japanese Harmony is made with malt whiskies from the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries, as well as grain whisky from the Chita distillery. The whiskies are drawn from 5 different types of cask, including American white oak casks, Sherry casks and Mizunara oak casks. The blend itself was crafted by the Suntory Whisky blending team, led by Master Blender Shingo Torii. An elegant expression, with wafts of honey, orange, a herbaceous touch or two and light oak. ~ Master of Malt

Beam Suntory creates the premium blended whiskey Hibiki in Japan (a subsidiary of Suntory Beverage & Food Ltd, which itself is a subsidiary of Suntory Holdings of Osaka, Japan). It has received several honors. In order to create the blends that were on the market as of 2010, more than 30 whiskies were combined, some of which had been matured for more than 30 years and others in old umeshu barrels. There has also been a filtration phase using bamboo charcoal. The method 'Gives it a very sweet and mild flavor,' the business claimed. At least 10 malt and grain whiskies from three distilleries (Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita) were reportedly utilized in 2015, matured in five distinct types of casks, some of which were stored for as long as 20 years or more. As of October 2017, there are presently three brand expressions available.
