About The Brand: Paul John

Indian single malt and single cask whiskies sold under the Paul John Whisky brand are produced by John Distilleries. The company debuted on October 4th, 2012, in London, England. [1] Paul John Whisky is produced in the company's distillery in Goa, India, using Indian 6-row malted barley and, for some varieties, imported Islay and Aberdeen peat. It is then aged in charred American oak barrels. Paul John Single Malt Whisky was originally introduced in the UK in 2012, followed by launches in Goa, India, and Bangalore, India, in 2013 and 2015, respectively. It was given that name in honor of Paul P. John, the company's founder and chairman. The Paul John single malts, a golden spirit of brightness from John Distilleries, come from the tropical Goan coastlines on India's west coast. John Distilleries, which was founded in 1996, rose to prominence in the spirit industry in less than ten years, not only in India but also internationally. The firm, led by Mr. Paul P John, has a significant portfolio of products in many different categories, including wines, brandies, and whiskies. Paul P. John was motivated by a desire to defy expectations and set out to enter the most exclusive whiskey circles in order to carve out a unique niche for his Paul John Indian Single Malts. The Paul John Indian Single Malts are produced in Goa using carefully selected local components, including barley, water, and yeast, which combined provide a unique brilliance. The tropical climate of Goa provides the proper environment and temperature for the whiskey to age. The Paul John Indian Single Malts are the product of a painstakingly observed process that starts with the mashing of grains and continues through fermentation, distillation, aging, vatting, and ultimately bottling. The Paul John Indian Single Malt is unfiltered, unchilled, and additive-free.
