Amrut Naarangi is a single malt whisky produced by Amrut Distilleries in Bangalore, India. It is a limited edition whisky that has been finished in casks that previously held Orange Wine, a type of wine made from white grapes that are left in contact with their skins for an extended period of time. The use of Orange Wine casks for finishing whisky is a relatively new development, and it is said to give the whisky a unique flavor profile that is influenced by the fruity, floral, and tannic notes of the Orange Wine. Amrut Naarangi is known for its bright and complex flavor profile, with notes of orange zest, apricots, and spices, as well as a touch of tannins from the Orange Wine. Overall, Amrut Naarangi is considered a highly distinctive and high-quality single malt whisky, and has been praised for its innovative approach to whisky production, combining the best of traditional Scottish whisky making techniques with the unique terroir and flavors of India.

Indian single malt whiskey sold under the Amrut name is produced by Amrut Distilleries. It is the country's first single malt whiskey to be produced. The Sanskrit term amrut, sometimes known as amrit, means 'nectar of the gods,' 'nectar of life,' or 'drink of the gods.' It is translated as 'Elixir of Life' by the corporation. Jim Murray, a renowned whiskey expert, gave the brand an 82 out of 100 grade in 2005 and 2010. Amrut Fusion single malt whiskey was ranked third in the world by Murray in 2010. Editor of the American publication Whisky Advocate, John Hansell, stated 'Indian whisky was formerly simply cheap Scotch whisky combined with who knows what and sold as Indian whisky, but India's Amrut distillery transformed that perception. Whisky is produced by Amrut, and it's excellent'. On August 24, 2004, Amrut introduced their whiskey in Glasgow. Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States are among the countries that sell Amrut single malt whiskey.
