For its Return to Oz series, That Boutique-y Whisky Company traveled to Australia and was able to get this fantastic single malt from the Limeburner's distillery. Its position in southwest Australia, an area well known for its wine production, together with the area's access to a variety of casks and the area's cold environment make it the ideal place for a distillery. An Australian Apera wine barrel was used to age this five-year-old single malt, which is a sweet wine made from Pedro Ximénez grapes. Here, dried fruit, tannin-rich oak, and creamy chocolate abound.
