This is the inaugural Boutique-y bottle from the Kentucky Peerless Distillery, and it was released as a part of That Boutique-y Rye Company's Rye Series. The 3 year old rye whiskey, which has a 49.1% ABV, is quite excellent. The original distillery in Henderson, Kentucky is depicted on the label, along with baseball cards for Henry Kraver, who founded the first distillery, as well as his great-grandson Corky Taylor and great-great-grandson Carson Taylor, who also founded the modern Kentucky Peerless Distillery! This one seems like a history lecture. A release of 406 bottles makes up Batch 1. In addition to creating award-winning blended malts and blends, "That Boutique-y Whisky Company" also bottles single malts, single grains, and bourbons from a number of renowned distilleries. These whiskies feature cult-favorite graphic novel-style labels.
