Game of Thrones House Stark – Dalwhinnie Winter’s Frost (Sold Out)
The Stark House is one of the Great Houses of the Seven Kingdoms. It is also the most northern house. Its castle is located at Winterfell, and is one of the oldest castles. Its coat of arms displays a gray direwolf running on a white field. While House Stark embodies the north and the frigid cold this whisky is full of warmth and citrusy flavorus, so maybe it's like the north in the height of the summer.
Game of Thrones House Tully – Singleton of Glendullan Select
The Tully House is one of the Great Houses of the Seven Kingdoms. Its coat of arms displays a leaping silver trout on a field of rippling blue and red stripes. It is located in the Riverlands with its castle located at Riverrun. The Singleton is distilled in Dufftown on the banks of the River Fiddich, similarly House Tully sits at the point where the Red Fork of the Trident River is joined by its major tributary, the Tumblestone River flowing out of the west. Being situated on a river is the common theme here. This whisky is bursting spice and vanilla with a nice subtle undertone of barely.
Game of Thrones House Targaryen – Cardhu Gold Reserve
With a coat of arms showing a red, three-headed dragon breathing fire on a black field, House Targaryen ruled the Seven Kingdoms for nearly 300 years from the iron throne in King’s Landing. Filled with fruit, caramel and baked goods, this whisky is a true delicacy fit for a king!
Game of Thrones House Lannister – Lagavulin 9 Year Old
The Lannister House is one of the Great Houses of the Seven Kingdoms. Its castle is at Casterly Rock in the Westerlands. Its coat of arms displays a golden lion rampant on a crimson field. They are know to say “A Lannister always pays his debts" though this is not their official motto. Due to having gold mines on their property they are the richest of the great houses. They even ruled as Kings of the Rock until House Targaryen invaded Westeros. Equally rich is this whisky that represents the Lannister House, a classic Lagavulin filled with smoke and fruitiness.
Game of Thrones The Night’s Watch – Oban Bay Reserve
Men in the Night's Watch have sworn to defend the Wall that protects the north. This brotherhood of men reject land and titles, practice celibacy, cut ties to their families, assume neutrality in politics, and never desert their assignments. Past crimes and the circumstances of one's birth are not judged here and all can equally rise through the ranks. Similarly this bottle has a dark exterior but its contents are delightful fruity with a hint of mint and a classic waxiness common of Oban
Game of Thrones House Greyjoy – Talisker Select Reserve (Sold Out)
The Greyjoy House is one of the Great Houses of the Seven Kingdoms. Its castle is on Pyke in the Iron Islands. Its coat of arms displays a golden kraken on a black field. The Greyjoys rose to power in the Iron Islands after House Targaryen conquered the Seven Kingdoms and gave them freedom to choose their ruler. Talisker, also situated on an island, represents this house with coastal notes of seaweed and smoke.
Game of Thrones House Baratheon – Royal Lochnagar 12 Year Old (Sold Out)
The youngest of the great houses is House Baratheon. House Baratheon starts the show off occupying the Iron Throne at King's Landing. The Baratheon coat of arms displays a black stag on a field of gold. A crown was added after House Baratheon took the throne. As they are royalty it is only fitting that a royal distillery such a Royal Lochnagar represent them with a really complex whisky that is both floral and also earthy at the same time.
Game of Thrones House Tyrell – Clynelish Reserve
The Tyrell House is one of the Great Houses of the Seven Kingdoms. Its castle is at Highgarden and they are Wardens of the South. Its coat of arms displays a golden rose on a green field. The women of the Tyrell are known for being shrewd and clever leaders. This whisky matches the dry wit of Tyrell women and takes it up a notch with a lovely sweet woodyness and a hint of leather only to be balanced out with a dash of fruitiness.
Game of Thrones Six Kingdoms - Mortlach 15 Year Old
The oldest of the bunch, and adorned with an image of the three eyed raven. This bottle contains another trio - a trio of flavors. Fruit, vanilla and wood. What a pleasant sounding combination. The perfect bottle to tie together this lovely collection of whiskies and to celebrate the Game of Thrones TV show.
