About Grant's

A blended Scotch whisky called Grant's is bottled in Scotland by William Grant & Sons. Since 1957, Grant's has been offered in bottles with a triangle cross shape. Hans Schleger, the designer, fled Nazi Germany and arrived in Britain. He was tasked with designing a distinctive, classy bottle that would highlight the flavor and color of the whisky while still functioning effectively when stacked and boxed. The triangular bottle was originally utilized in 1956 for William Grant & Sons' Glenfiddich Single Malt Scotch. The Grant's bottle and label underwent a facelift in 2002. This included adding the Grant coat of arms and the battle cry of the Clan Grant, to which William belonged, 'Stand Fast,' to the bottle. Also included were the phrases 'Est. 1887' and 'Independent Family Distillers for Five Generations.'
