Miltonduff Octave 2011 13 Year Old is a Scotch whisky from the Speyside region, known for its rich and fruity character. This expression is a TWS Exclusive, highlighting its unique bottling. Miltonduff distillery is recognized for producing high-quality single malts, often characterized by their smoothness and complexity.
Rich and fruity with notes of ripe peaches, honey, and a hint of vanilla.
Smooth and creamy with flavors of toffee, dried fruits, and a touch of spice.
Long and warming with lingering sweetness and a subtle oak influence.
A well-balanced expression showcasing the fruit-forward character typical of Miltonduff, enhanced by the influence of the octave cask.

Pluscarden Abbey is located six miles southwest of Elgin. It was initially a priory when King Alexander II founded it around 1230. One of the original stones from the Abbey is still proudly on display at the Miltonduff distillery, which is supposed to be located where the Abbey's grain mill once stood. The Miltonduff variants offered by G&M show off this exceptional Speysider's enormous versatility: the Cask Strength Collection offers deep, spicy, black honey notes, while The Distillery Labels collection reveals a lighter, more floral side of the distillery. Another interesting fact is that Miltonduff used a Lomond still to make Mosstowie from 1967 until 1981, another single malt.
