Miltonduff Octave 2011 is an 11-year-old Scotch whisky from the Speyside region. Miltonduff distillery is known for producing a rich and fruity style of whisky, often characterized by its smoothness and complexity.
Rich and fruity with notes of ripe peaches, vanilla cream, and a hint of oak spice.
Smooth and well-rounded with flavors of honey, citrus zest, and a touch of maltiness.
Medium length with lingering sweetness and a subtle warmth.
A delightful expression showcasing the fruit-forward character typical of Miltonduff, balanced with oak influence.

Pluscarden Abbey is located six miles southwest of Elgin. It was initially a priory when King Alexander II founded it around 1230. One of the original stones from the Abbey is still proudly on display at the Miltonduff distillery, which is supposed to be located where the Abbey's grain mill once stood. The Miltonduff variants offered by G&M show off this exceptional Speysider's enormous versatility: the Cask Strength Collection offers deep, spicy, black honey notes, while The Distillery Labels collection reveals a lighter, more floral side of the distillery. Another interesting fact is that Miltonduff used a Lomond still to make Mosstowie from 1967 until 1981, another single malt.
