A wonderful, young single malt from Miltonduff has joined the Strictly Limited collection from independent bottler Càrn Mr. The single malt, which was distilled in 2015 and spent six years aging in a Pedro Ximénez hogshead, produced 1,812 bottles in total when it was released in 2022.

About The Brand: Miltonduff

Pluscarden Abbey is located six miles southwest of Elgin. It was initially a priory when King Alexander II founded it around 1230. One of the original stones from the Abbey is still proudly on display at the Miltonduff distillery, which is supposed to be located where the Abbey's grain mill once stood. The Miltonduff variants offered by G&M show off this exceptional Speysider's enormous versatility: the Cask Strength Collection offers deep, spicy, black honey notes, while The Distillery Labels collection reveals a lighter, more floral side of the distillery. Another interesting fact is that Miltonduff used a Lomond still to make Mosstowie from 1967 until 1981, another single malt.
