Miltonduff 12 Year Old Bot.1990s is a Scotch whisky from the Speyside region, known for its rich and fruity character. With an age statement of 12 years and an ABV of 43%, it reflects the traditional craftsmanship of the Miltonduff distillery, which has been producing whisky since the late 19th century.
Rich and fruity with notes of ripe apples, pears, and a hint of honey, complemented by subtle floral undertones and a touch of oak.
Smooth and well-rounded with flavors of vanilla, caramel, and a mix of dried fruits, alongside a gentle spiciness and a touch of malt.
Medium-length with a warm, lingering sweetness and a slight nuttiness, leaving a pleasant impression of fruit and oak.
A balanced and approachable Speyside whisky that showcases the classic characteristics of the region.

Pluscarden Abbey is located six miles southwest of Elgin. It was initially a priory when King Alexander II founded it around 1230. One of the original stones from the Abbey is still proudly on display at the Miltonduff distillery, which is supposed to be located where the Abbey's grain mill once stood. The Miltonduff variants offered by G&M show off this exceptional Speysider's enormous versatility: the Cask Strength Collection offers deep, spicy, black honey notes, while The Distillery Labels collection reveals a lighter, more floral side of the distillery. Another interesting fact is that Miltonduff used a Lomond still to make Mosstowie from 1967 until 1981, another single malt.
