A wonderful Speysider sherried. This was poured in 1994 and bottled in May 2021 after 26 years in a refill sherry butt. A total of 627 bottles, each with a 52.5% abv strength, were produced. This unashamedly sherried dram is unfiltered and uncolored by chill filtering and is part of Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice line. Expect toasted wood, spices, cloves, and rich sherry notes to emerge on the nose. Rich stewed red berries, toffee apples, and cinnamon make up the taste. A medium-bodied finish with lingering spicy undertones is in store.
