This magnificent Glenrothes expression was completed in an octave for eight months after eight years of maturation in wood barrels. Exclusively for The Whisky Shop, it was bottled by Duncan Taylor in 2022 at a 55.9% alcohol by volume. With only 86 bottles made, this single cask expression is extremely unusual. Fresh pine nuts, coconut, and sticky toffee pudding are all brought by the nose. The mouth is bursting with creamy sherried sweetness, Christmas cake, and maple syrup flavors.
