Party Time, a 2009 Glenrothes single malt from independent bottler Simply Whisky, was first completed in oloroso sherry octaves before being released in December 2021 at the age of 12. It was first aged in refill oloroso sherry hogsheads. The tongue is supplemented by flavors of ginger, clove, nutmeg, blackberries, dark chocolate, and prunes. The nose is filled with aromas of burned sugar, caramel, soft leather, oak, toasted walnuts, raspberries, rum-and-raisin chocolates, and vanilla.
