Torabhaig Cnoc Na Moine is a Scotch whisky produced by Torabhaig Distillery, located on the Isle of Skye. The distillery is known for its commitment to traditional methods and aims to create a distinctive style of whisky that reflects its unique island heritage. As an Islay whisky, it is part of a region renowned for its peaty and maritime character.
Peaty smoke with hints of citrus and sea salt, complemented by a touch of vanilla and herbal notes.
Rich and full-bodied with a balance of smoky flavors, sweet malt, and a slight brininess, alongside notes of dried fruit and spices.
Long and warming, with lingering smoke and a subtle sweetness that fades into a dry, earthy finish.
A complex and well-rounded Islay whisky that showcases the region's characteristic peatiness while offering a unique depth of flavor.

On the Isle of Skye, at Teangue, there is a Scotch whisky distillery called Torabhaig. The distillery is the first since Talisker was founded in 1830 and just the second permitted distillery ever on Skye. The distillery project received planning approval in 2002 while being owned by Sir Iain Noble; however, after his passing, Mossburn Distillers, a division of Marussia Beverages BV, bought the distillery. 2014 saw the start of construction on a Simpson and Brown design. The distillery's estimated price in 2014 was more than £5 million. Incorporated within a repurposed old farm steading, the distillery was finished in 2017. Two bottles of the distillery's initial whiskey were auctioned off in 2021 to benefit a good cause.
