This blended malt Scotch whisky, which is a part of The Lost Distillery Co.'s Classic Selection, aspires to recreate the spirit of the long-gone Jericho distillery in Aberdeenshire. The distillery, which ran from 1822 until 1913 and underwent a name change to Benachie in its later years, was among the first to start using sherry barrels for maturation. Fruitcake, tangerine, and marzipan are present on the nose. Fresh coffee and mild wood spices can be tasted on the tongue, and sweet spices are abundant in the aftertaste.
