It's the second release in Compass Box's Myths & Legends series, aiming to challenge assumptions and biases (or, myths and legends) the surround Scotch whisky. Myths & Legends II marries two malt whiskies of different ages from the Glen Elgin Distillery. Aged in a variety of casks including American oak and refill sherry butts, the whisky aims to challenge assumptions made about the links between provenance and flavour profile. 4,446 bottles were released in July 2019 at 46% ABV.
