New Riff Straight Rye is a straight rye whiskey produced by New Riff Distillery, located in Newport, Kentucky. As a straight rye whiskey, it must be made from a mash bill that consists of at least 51% rye grain, be aged for a minimum of two years in new, charred oak barrels, and bottled at a minimum of 40% alcohol by volume (ABV). New Riff Distillery is a relatively new distillery, having been founded in 2014, but has quickly established a reputation for producing high-quality, small-batch whiskies using locally sourced ingredients and traditional production methods.
